A Letter from Tom Castiglione
Cubane Crew,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce my resignation of my role as guitar player in CUBANE. It has been an absolute honor and privilege to play, write, and perform music with my friends Paul, Matt and Shawn for over the past five plus years. I cannot begin to thank all of you, the loyal fans, family and friends that have supported me in my journey with the band. It has been quite the ride.
I know this comes as a shock to many, but there comes a time in a persons life when optimistic ideas, hopes, and dreams slowly over time gets overtaken and replaced with the more realistic responsibilities, goals, and ambitions that we all have to face at one time or another.
Five years does not sound like a lot of time, but I look back at the person I was before the band and I compare that with the person I see now and I see some things that need to change. Now, I would never say I wish I could go back and change how I got to this point. Nor that I would if I could. I have no regrets, and just fond memories. What needs to change is my order of priorities. I put a lot of things in my life on hold when this band started, and it is time to rekindle those fires once again.
The guys are completely supportive of my decision, for which I am thankful, because they knew my allegiance to this band and the value of their friendship is something that I would not jeopardize.
I sincerely thank you, the fans, again for all your support over the years with the band and for the years to come.
See you soon,

Tom Castiglione
